We recommend cycling routes and hiking paths, visits to the wineries who offer widely known wines Dingač and Postup, a visit to the Maloston Bay where you can try excellent oysters and other shellfish, visits to the county estates, diving on attractive locations, and, of course, swimming and sunbathing on beautiful beaches of Pelješac… Surfing enthusiasts will enjoy the area of Viganj, while mountain climbers will experience the steep Croatian National Tourist Board hills of St. Ilija…
Don’t forget that Pelješac can offer one-day excursions to the pearls of the Mediterranean National Park Mljet, Dubrovnik, Korčula, Split, Međugorja, thanks to it favourable location…

Important advice

Advices to tourists and mountaineers:


  • - Choose excursions you can hold out
  • - Do not go to the mountain alone, do not leave a group
  • - Advise your family about your direction and time
      of return, and stict to that
  • - Register in visitor books in mountain huts
  • - Ask and listen to the advice of mountain hut keepers
      and experienced mountaineers
  • - Be prepared for weather changes
  • - Always stay on marked ways
  • - Always take a battery torch, lighter or matches, and water with you
  • - Take a small first aid kit with you
  • - It is very important to have reserve clothing and protection
      against sun, rain and wind.

If an accident occurs in the mountains:


  • - Administer first aid within limits of your knowledge
  • - Protect the injured person from heat – cold
  • - Call Mountain Rescue Service
